Dear Mary, I just need to chat with you a while.

Yesterday I listened to KIB 59 once again, for about the 4th time, listening and crying out to God until it becomes a part of me. I am 99% surrender to the truths you both unfold, I do have one huge question though that I would like to chat about, and would appreciate an answer to.

My husband and I are New Zealanders, 78 years of age, retired pastors, missionaries, still itinerant Bible teachers mostly in Asia and almost entirely attending Pentecostal type Churches. We have been following the Lord’s Feasts individually and for some time, whilst still absorbed in anything the church throws in, but today I just cannot bring myself to attend church for there will be carols, a tree and the lighting of candles. I know that it would not be much better if I found a church who were more in line with the Hebrew way, for they lean towards ‘quaint’ or just plain ‘weird’. I wonder if there is a church service you could recommend that we could follow ‘on line’, the entire service, following the Hebrew teaching and the Biblical way?

Now to my question which is related to KIB 59. Our son lives in Seattle, USA therefore I am conversant with how virulently the city is opposed to anything Christian, disallowing Christian phrases and insisting upon ‘Happy Holidays’ rather than any words which relate to Christ. The thoughts that arise are this, if satan is so opposed to anything which relates to Christ at this time and in this season, then are we not playing into his and his disciples hands by also turning our thought and backs to bringing Christ into the season. Even though we are aware that Jesus was not born at this time but way back in October or thereabouts.

I will close by saying how much both my husband and I eagerly await anything you put on line.

    In His love, Ruth
